Well like it says in the description, I use MS paint and my laptop touchpad to draw. 

Transparency: depending on my mood, I swap between these online editors - 

OiE: www.online-image-editor.com/

pixlr: pixlr.com/editor/

sumo: www.sumopaint.com/home/#app

I also use pixlr and sumo for gradients if I need them

but layering backgrounds like the space circle here, that you can do in MS paint without a fancy editor,
thats simple image layering. you just need an editor to make it transparent after
