~~~Nightfly meeting Zephyr for the first time after Luna brings him home..
I'm still tinkering around with Nightfly's mane, it's bugging me lol
Nightfly is a pretty anti-social filly, so seeing Zephyr come home with her mother may have left her a bit cautious of him.
She's gonna have to get used to him being around, though, Zephy is here to stay!

*Nightfly notices Zephyr*
Nightfly: Mom? ... Who is him?
Luna: *in a motherly tone* Nightfly, this is your new brother Zephyr, his father had an...accident. So now he's gonna stay with us ok? Why don't you try to introduce yourself? *Luna smiles gently*
Slowly, Nightfly got closer to the colt and noticed the details of his face. His sharp eyes, dull coat and ear markings made it clear that he was a bat pony. She felt shyness and fear bubbling up inside her, she tried to get closer and say hello, but she just couldn't do it. She quickly ran back and hid timidly behind her mother's legs. The young bat colt slightly frowned at the failed meeting, but tried to quickly compose himself.
Zephyr: Hello... My name is Zephyr, what's yours?
Nightfly didn't answer, but looked at her mother right in the eye. The young filly's expression screamed that she was very uncomfortable. At the sight Zephyr visibly paled,before looking away. He stared at the floor intently in defeat ,while Nightfly curiously but still very much awkwardly and uncomfortably eyed him. Luna sighed deeply.
Luna: this is gonna be a very complicated...

*The large doors to the castle open, each with a different aura color, and in walks Luna and a colt unfamiliar to Nightfly*
Nightfly: Uhh... M-mom *pulls aside Luna* Wh-who is that?
Luna: Oh, Nightfly, thi-this is *gulp* your new brother. His name is Zephyr. His mother died when he was much younger, and his father, well, passed earlier, I would like you to make friends with him. And, please do not mention his parents.
Nightfly: *Nods quietly and slowly trots over to Zephyr, with her mother not far behind*
Luna: Zephyr, this is your new sister, Nightfly. As you two are so suddenly siblings, I'll give you time to befriend one another. *Exits to the throne room*
Zephyr: H-hello *Looks her over and his eyes widen as he quickly drops into a bow* p-princess
Nightfly: *Eyes widen as well, and takes a step back* Y-you d-don't have to-to bow. We're siblings now.. *Speaks in a quiet shaky tone*
Zephyr: Oh, okay... *Slowly stands while his knees bobble around until he finally thumps on the ground*
Nightfly: *Sits and scoots a little bit closer to him* So...
Zephyr: Ummm... Do you like The Wonderbolts?
(I don't know about her answer, I'm just assuming here)
Nightfly: *Nods*
Zephyr: *Eyes light up* Did you see their last race, Spitfire won by a landslide! And Soarin' he was amazing the way we was weaving past the competition! Shoom! Shoom! Shoom!
Nightfly: *Smiles a little* Yeah, t-they were awesome.
Zephyr: But Fleetfoot had a great lead, I guess nopony got to finish cleaning her lane, that looked like it hurt!
Nightlfly: *Nods*
Zephyr: *Looks at her and his smile wavers* You don't like me, do you?
Nightfly: *Looks at him like she'd just been stung by a bee* No, I-I like you...
Zephyr: A-are you my f-friend?
Nightfly: *Give a small nod and smiles weakly*
Zephyr: Whoa, I-I've never had a real, actual friend before! Nopony likes a blank-flank
Nightfly: *Stands and slowly wiggles her flank, show no cutie-mark, and smiles*
Zephyr: *Looks up hopefully at Nightfly*
Nightfly: *Understands and nods*
Zephyr: *Leaps up and puts flank next to hers while yelling excitedly* Blank-flanks unite!
Luna: *Hears a muffled yell from the entrance room and dashes to see what went wrong, but opens the door and smiles, at her two little children, falling on their rumps and giggling at each other*
I see a great sibling relationship coming on!

Luna: *interupts Zephyr and smiles* Princess Nightfly, my daughter. Go on Nightfly say hi.
Nightfly: Hi
Luna: This little colt is Zephyr, he will be staying with us since his dad *ehem* passed away. I shall leave you two alone, for you to know each other a bit. *smiles and leaves*
Nightfly: .....
Zephyr: ....... *sits down*
Nightfly: *slowly aproches him and sits beside him* Sorry about your dad....
Zephyr: *smiles weakly* Is alright, I guess. The good thing is now I got you and Princess Luna.
Nightfly: *smiles weakly*
