Mother: Tempest Shadow (Fizzlepop Berrytwist)
Siblings: Nightfly , Vesper and Serene Tempest
Role: Commander in Princess Twilight's Royal Guard - Land Brigade

- Acheron is the first and only son of Stygian and Tempest Shadow. He was a very hyper active foal, and loved teasing his older sister Nightfly from the moment he learned how to walk. Taking after his mother, Acheron showed an interest early on in military and battles.
Despite his fathers worries, Acheron knew he wanted to be a Royal Guard like his mother and serve the Princess.

- Acheron's name was inspired by his father Stygian. Stygian's name represents the dark rivers that carried the dead of Hades, whereas Acheron and Styx both ARE rivers that carried the dead of Hades. (That and his middle name is Fizzle after his mother.. Plus, "Fizzle Styx" is just too fun to not use lol)

- Acheron is the only one of his siblings that did not take over a duty from the previous parent, but set his own course by following in his mothers' powerful hoofprints instead of taking over where she left off.

- Although he is powerful, Acheron is vain. His over confidence sometimes gets the better of himself, and results in accidents; sometimes funny or embarressing ones.

- Although he's a punk, when there is a threat, Acheron is very protective of his siblings and would give his life to protect them. He does have admirable aspects to him, they just hide behind his ego.

- Although both part of Twilight's Royal Guard, Acheron likes to see Nova as more of a friendly rival than Guardmate. Acheron is Commander of his own Land Brigade whereas Nova is Captain of the Aerial Team. They like to compete which troop of theirs is better, which sometimes gets under Twilight's skin. Nova ends any competition they may have eventually, but if it were up to Acheron, the competition wouldn't end until each pony collapsed to the ground in exhaustion.

- In relationship to his other siblings, Acheron and Vesper don't really have much in common, but they do both enjoy a nice game every now and then. And when it comes to Serene, Acheron feels most protective of her. She is the youngest, and with her being born from Tempest as well, he feels a close bond to her more than his other siblings. This of course, makes Nightfly a bit envious once in a while.
