Description
To celebrate my newly acquired Voyager Grimmy (which is totally VERY hard to find in toy shops right now because of low number of stocks, and because of bad people who buy it by the bulk and sell it for a gross amount), I now present this deviation!It says at the back of Grimlock's box that he's "Just as strong as Megatron!", so this is probably something I want to see in Season 3 of Transformers Animated (If there is one). I was rushing this in between professional works and I was lazy enough not to put any decent background.

According to the Allspark Almanac there was supposed to be a fight between the Dinobots and the Decepticons in "Megatron Rising", but it was cut out.

What a bummer! EDIT: read LawfulStudios9646's comment. The team figured that fans, especially Dinobots and Grimlock fans, would be upset at the idea of them losing a fight against Megatron, who would have won easily to show how powerful he was.

According to certain sources (The Allspark Almanac 2), Megatron was suppose to fight Grimlock and the Dinobots. But Megatron would have won easilyΒ to show powerful he was. They decided not to do it because the producers thought thatΒ fans, especially dinobots and Grimlock fans, would get angry that they lost a fight so fast.

Listen buddy, while Megatron is totally more cunning and intelligent than everyone's favorite Dinobot, Grimlock is no "weak dinosaur" by ANY means. Grimlock is far stronger than both Megatron and Optimus Prime, and he can kick both their collective asses without breaking a sweat. Megatron MAY be able to put maybe one or two slight scratches on Grimlock, but Grimlock will destroy the sh*t out of him. Grimlock isn't the leader of the Dinobots for nothing. He may be dumb, but he got the strength to send Megatron and Prime running for their money. Doesn't matter what incarnation of Grimlock and Megatron we're talking about, we know that Grimlock will always come up on top no matter what.Β

Grimlock should have had a larger role in TFA, definetely when the Decepticons crashed the Ark onto Dinobot Island. If this scene showed up, I could image a quote.
