Description

The Onu-Matoran snuck up behind Silvua and suddenly snatched the Toa of Ice's snowboard away from him.

"Hey, what the-!" Before Silvua could react, Ulop had plopped down on it and was sliding away down the snowy hillside, laughing.

Bio: Ulop's island of origin was on the verge of a volcanic eruption powerful enough to warrant the evacuation of the entire Matoran population. Ulop boarded a ship to escape, only to realize he was going to the wrong destination. Unable to get on board another ship, he found himself stuck going wherever this ship was headed.

Along the way, the ship ran into a particularly nasty Rahi Leviathan. Ulop was nearly eaten by it, but instead, for some reason it took a liking to him and gifted him with unusual abilities.

Ulop spent the rest of the voyage figuring out what he was now capable of. His mind was naturally shielded and he had a surprisingly high level of telepathic abilities.

Upon arriving at his destination, the city-island of Kain, Ulop discovered that he had no way of leaving as he had no money. He wandered the streets for a time, looking for work, and was eventually hired by the Smuggler as an accountant.

Ulop proved very good at his job, and didn't question the origins of the items and funds he was keeping tabs on. Eventually, he became the Smuggler's personal assistant, and does the occasional odd job for him, such as stealing a particularly valuable item or 'dealing with' problem customers or incompetent employees.

Personality: Ulop is, on the surface, almost impossible to read. He has a very brusque manner about him, and enjoys keeping people in the dark wherever he can. He tends to treat Laminus as though every job the Toa of Ice asks him to do were an inconvenience to him, but in truth he enjoys it immensely and only acts that way to see how others in the room might react. Although a telepath, Ulop prefers not to use his abilities, and instead uses a more traditional method with people of 'pressing buttons' and gauging their reaction to figure them out. He is also known for some impish behavior when he feels free to relax.
