So, I was this green… dragon? Lizard? Dragon-fly? Anyway… in that dream, I happened to be on the way of a colossal dragon that I couldn’t avoid. The big thing wasn’t happy about my presence and decided to eat me.

The only way to survive was to fly toward the dragon because soon enough I learned that he could spit some sort of fireballs same as me… Just mine were like mosquito bites, causing no damage to him, while his fireballs were… proportionally to his size powerful. Imagine that… No wonder there was a desert around. Probably, he had burned all alive long time ago already.

I had a panic attack. No wonder. How I could fight that? … Well, I had a plan, actually… I knew what his weak spot was, but there was too high chance to be burned in his fireballs before. Right now the beast stood up on his back legs and unfolded his wings. Oh crap! HE WAS HUGE! I had to fly high and as close to him as possible… The dragon was moving slowly, so that was giving me some chance to survive. I made my way to his back and turned around to fly down his spine toward his head ( he was bending down to stay on his four again) gaining as much speed as there was possible. But… He suddenly moved not as I predicted and I crashed somewhere on his back between crests.

When I wasn’t flying I had no wings… Don’t ask… they just disappeared like I’ve never had them before. I stood up and looked around. I had to fly before he would turn his head to me. And… I wasn’t alone on his back… FLEAS! Enormous fleas crawling from everywhere! What was I thinking about? Damn it…

The closest transparent beast rushed to me. I unfolded wings that appeared out of nowhere as soon I thought about flying. The beast stopped mesmerized by shiny wings cover. The next moment the colossal dragon moved again and the ground below my feet tilted so much that I started sliding toward the flea. I had to think fast and…. I jumped toward the flea, crashing it on one of the crests. I started rolling down the dragon spine like a snowball until there was no more ‘ground’ below and I was falling for a few moments until the pain was gone and I finally could maneuver, flying down.

As expected, the dragon turned to look at me and was preparing to cast a new fireball. I was falling in his opened mouth, inside which I could see the forming light of the upcoming blast. The beast couldn’t see me now. I spit a fireball in his mouth and then change the direction of my flight, getting away. FAST. With the maximum speed.

Quite soon my fireball hit the not-completely-formed-fireball substance and it detonated in the dragon’s throat. There was a low sound of a big BOOM behind me and the enormous dragon tried to fly up, moving in convulsions, burning from inside.

I landed near an entrance to a temple not far… That was the place I was flying to all along. I turned back to see how the dragon fell to the ground dead. A few moments later something happened. There was some strange sound and the whole enormous corpse shrank into something small that was flying slowly toward the temple… When it was close… I saw that it was a metal ball. No bigger than a tennis ball. It suddenly felt in front of me. I took it. What the hell was that? I had no idea, but it seems to be important. It was surprisingly heavy to its size and had engravings. I took it with myself … and woke up soon.
