It's like the people who do don't ship it as much as me and I feel like I annoy them sometimes bc I never shut up about it lol

But I HAAATE non canon shippings and I have good reasons for it.
First of all... The characters themselves, how they were drawn, and how they act (personality and stuff). If you think about it, Ruby and Sapphire, and Steven and Connie were drawn and characterized to click together. Steven and Peridot do not which makes the ship even more weird. Not only that, things like Amedot, Pearlmathyst, I even saw Ronalidot. *shivers
Second of all, if these ships are never EVER going to be canon, why do people even bother. I love Stevonnie because like she is completely canon and I can look forward to more Stevonnie in the future.
Third of all, people make the HUGEST deal out of small things that their favorite ship do together. Like I remember in the comments of a clip of the episode from Back to the Barn, people were like OMFG AMETHYST WAS CONGRATULATING PEARL AND SMILING AT HER SHIPSHIPSHIP. Like really, really...
