Description
The Eastern Blue-eyed Grass, Sisyrinchium angustifolium, isn't grass at all. And it isn't "blue-eyed* as it's a blue flower with yellow center (or *eye* 
). 
It belongs to... Iris Family, Iridaceae, along with gladioli, crocuses, and, of course, irises.
