When I was a little child I used to watch a lot of japanese cartoons on tv. I was a big fan of Ulises XXXI, Little Memole, Lun Lun, Attac nº one... When I was 12 I felt in love with the amazing art of the tv series Saint Seiya. Though I always loved drawing and reading comics, it was with that series when I began to draw my own stories. Then I knew that all my favourite series were dessigned by the same person, the great Shingo Araki.

Yesterday December 1, he passed away. I could never express with words how I admired him and how his work has influenced on me and changed my life. I have learn of a lot of other artists, but he will be always the greatest one for me.

The girl in the image is my OC, who I created while I watched Saint Seiya. Nothing better than her can express my feelings right now. This is my personal tribute to him.

Wherever you are, thank you, master Araki.
