Description Shingo Araki is dead.

He was my unaware mentor. The reason why I fell in love with animes and Saint Seiya. But more than this, THE REASON I DECIDED TO DEVOTE MY LIFE TO ARTS, and the reason why I startet to seriously drawing, and learning, and thinking "Hey! This will be my job.".
He has been the unaware cause of many of the choices of my life.

He has been my inpiration, my Master... My guiding light, as the Nothern Star Polaris is always for queen Hilda.

And now that he's dead... Well. I've never known him, obviously.
But I feel like one part of me is dead with him.
I feel strange, and, yes: I'm sad.

This is a (little/quick/not so good in quality, I know) tribute for him. I made it yesterday, when I first heard the notice.
Hilda was one of the Saint Seiya Characters totally created by him and Michy Himeno. And Hilda is my favourite one, my alter ego.
She's me, today; and, yes: she's sad.


Goodbye, my Polaris.

Grazie, Kizzy. Credo che lui fosse uno degli ultimi grandi character designers di anime, e l'iniziatore di un particolare, raffinato, neoclassico stile di disegno e di animazione.
E sono d'accordo, pertanto, quando dici che il mondo degli anime non sarΓ  piΓΉ lo stesso...

I am so sad to know about this...
Saint Seiya was the first anime I watched when I was 3 years old - and now that I am 21, I just love it much more. I always loved Saint Seiya, and of course, Shingo-san.
I was really sad when I heard about this notice, I just couldn't help but feel like crying. It is someone that made not only my childhood, but life.

I hope that, just now, he is in Elysium, resting like he deserves.

We all will miss you, Shingo Sensei.

Such a great loss...devastating for all of Shingo Araki's admirers as well as Saint Seiya fans... Your tribute to him is really beautiful and tugs at one's heartstrings simply by looking at it. So many emotions...mostly sadness, that we all feel right now.
