There goes the baby of yesterday's and today's extreme procrastinationEver since I saw the cover for chapter 141 I wanted to draw them in those clothes & get some blood involved 8D But dudeee, why am I so late for this fandom? I should have read this a couple years ago DX
I dedicate it to because when I drew them for her commission I still hadn't read all the manga and now I don't think I did justice to the pairing, with all the crazy drama going on between them *loved it*

And guessss whatttt, Kurogane represents the dragon (because of his attacks & his sword has a dragon on it) and Fai represents the phoenix (because of his attacks and his magical staff). Not sure if you know about Asian mythology, but the relationship of the dragon and the phoenix in Asian culture represents "blissful relations between husband and wife". Now someone try to tell me that KuroFai isn't canon xDDDDD Clamp did that on purpose clearly *gets shot*

lol you know the way I found out about this was precisely because I wanted to draw Kuro & Fai representing their animals, so when looking up the symbology I was like 'WHAT THE HECK' GROOM & BRIDE?? xDDD So yeah definitely doing something with the dragon/phoenix thing xD
