It's finally done
...I actually thought it would take more time before I had this picture ready. But it went quite smoothly.
I keep trying to improve my semi-realistic style.
I'm not quite sure of the background. But considering that indoor
pictures are not my strongest side, I think it ended up pretty good.
I've had the idea to make a more realistic picture of Beauty and the Beast for a while.
Just wasn't sure how it would look.
In the end I decided to draw the Beast and his rose.

This is really very well drawn, but why does he have a cat snout here instead of bizon one like in the movie?

I had some insperation from lions when I drew this, so he ended up looking more feline here.
I didn't know that the beast's snout is meant to look like a bison's in the movie.

Ah, I see. Well, general shape of his head was inspired by a bison's one, because bisons have kind of sad "expression" on their snouts as if they are tormented (I can't recall the exact phrase, but this was written in the artbook). Plus The Beast has tusks of a boar, eyebrows of a gorilla and a loin's mane.
