annnnyway, i don’t aaaactually want Dominator to have a sad back story or anything, but WHAT IF SHE DID ANYWAY.
escapee slave/last of race/very angry inside.
and i’m sure this makes no sense with how her powers work in canon cuz i think it’s tech of some kind??? but i don’t care cuz i got to draw her angry and cute.

I honestly don’t think her powers are tech. I mean, if they were, how does that explain her getting Ice powers after that incident?

And I think that the creators of the series will show her perents. When she will be close to destroy the entire galaxy. And they'll say something like that "Darling, we wanted to visit grandma. Give us back the keys of the spaceship"
But I would not like that it will be over so trivial

For some reason I imagine she would be among the last members of a species that lost a universe-scale war against another equally powerful species (a war that devastated entire galaxies) - I call her species the Nova Salamanders (green skin and mythological fire powers, you see?). She would be simply doing what she had done her whole life, and having fun at it while she faces hopeless opponents - she would have escaped her true rivals, who would be far away by this point, maybe on the opposite side of the universe.
It probably doesn't make much sense, but that is the feeling I have while watching her. With that said, we probably will never really know of her backstory, and that is for the better, I think. A good mystery is also good to have.

Thanks! It was fun to come up with a backstory and a species name for her (all while mixing equal measures of Doctor Who, Lensman, and Supreme Commander). I also made some interpretations of mine of these characters, in case you're curious: s7alker117.deviantart.com/art/…
Indeed, that's why such mysteries are cool, because they get us theorizing and we end up never forgetting about these characters.
