Sounds like my folks from last decade, when mom was still a nurse.
Her co-workers did not respect her much.

She is a nanny now, to a couple of kids whose parents do not understand discipline.
On the other hand, starting a fairy garden, indulging in arts/crafts, getting a new puppy (when she said she was only going to look), and starting to play that Harry Potter phone app game have helped her bounce back.

I'm surprised how calm Donnie is when april yells at him, well having lived with Mikey as a troublemaker and Rapha as angry, that sure gave him a lot of maturity for his relationship with april

It seems that he was never was angry only on April. He could yell at his brothers, but with her Donnie was always calm and very afraid of hurting her feelings with his emotions. I think that his love for April can sometimes be called really mature.
