This is Bartholomew. He is a caretaker. Not a janitor, not a cleaner, not a security guard, not a librarian: a CARETAKER. Thinking he's a scientist or doctor is understandable, but if you think he's otherwise, that'll instantly peeve him off BIG time.

Bartholomew was taken to live in a dimension that is parallel to many different places in space and time when he was 9. Since then, he has lived in a weapons research, storage and manufacturing facility. After causing numerous accidents in different departments, Bartholomew ended up being appointed to look after a library of magical books by the one who had originally taken him to the dimension. Bartholomew feels indebted to this person and, as a result, takes his job extremely seriously. He has been the sole caretaker of the building for the last 3 and a half years.

Powers/Abilities
Bartholomew is a Lyin (lee-yin) and, as a result, is naturally faster, more agile, more flexible, stronger and has better senses than an average human. He is also able to conduct eletricity effectively without dying.

Bartholomew has the ability to manipulate existing bodies of water. He cannot, however, create water out of thin air or summon it from far away. Generally, he finds it difficult to manipulate bodies of water that he cannot see and he does not have an ability that lets him locate water sources. However, if he experiences strong emotions, water close to him reacts. For example, if he was getting really angry, water might explode from a nearby pipe or if he was really happy, water might burst from the sewer below in a fountain to reflect his mood.
He can only manipulate water, not other liquids.

Bartholomew doesn't own any weapons, but he is familiar with many of them and how they function due to his current residence. He is also skilled in swordfighting from since before he entered the facility.

Personality & Fighting Style
Bartholomew is intelligent, resourceful and generally optimistic. He is very dedicated and loyal and thus will go to great lengths to help his friends. He is generally well-mannered and polite. Although he is 15 and looks deceivingly oblivious, Bartholomew is not naive. He also has no qualms about killing somebody, although he'd prefer not to. However, Bartholomew can be exceedingly childish at times and isn't the best at controlling his emotions. He can be rather clumsy, though he hasn't injured himself because of it for a while now. He loves challenges and, as long as the odds aren't completely stacked against him, he will take up any challenege posed with his "honour as a caretaker!" or because of childish rivalry/need to please.

Unless he is focused, Bartholomew is rather skittish and his first instinct in a fight would be to run and hide. He isn't scared of things that he is accustomed to, i.e. weapons, but he is easily intimidated by people's height, bulk and age. He also has a dislike/fear of robots due to bad experiences with them in the facility.
If he was found? Well, he might surrender under normal circumstances, but since doing so in Junkyard City would result in him being able to be attacked by creepy monsters and probably not being able to return to his job as caretaker, he wouldn't surrender under any circumstances, except inevitable death. Bartholomew respects chivalry, but will do everything in his power to win a fight; including trickery, overkill and other such foul play. He has no exact style of fighting, so go nuts and be creative if he gets through, fellow contestants!
