Description
A couple weeks ago, my parents and I watched A Fistful Of Dollars with Clint Eastwood, which inspired me to draw my cowboy character, Derby O'Brien again. Drew him wearing a poncho like Clint Eastwood for the fun of it, plus Eastwood was my main inspiration for the character anyway.
When I was a little kid, my Daddy had a tape that had the main soundtrack of Fistful Of Dollars on it. My sister Emily, my brother Daniel, and I used to play Cowboys while the tape was playing, so when I heard the main soundtrack while watching the movie, it brought back happy childhood memories of running around, playing cowboys in the yard.
Ugh, the only thing that really bothers me about this drawing is the way Derby's arm turned out, the one holding the pistol. I had such a hard time with it for some reason, and finally I just gave up. So to me this drawing is kind of a fail, but oh well. Besides the arm, the rest of it looks okay I guess.
