Description This is sweet Mimi, daydreaming. This poor dog had to have surgery to have a harness removed that grew into her skin. I heard there is a family waiting to adopt her. How anyone can do this to an animal is beyond me. Anyhow, she is such a sweet dog. We have an awesome vet who has been spoiling Sweet Mimi with oodles of love.

From what I knew of her, she was remarkable. I believe one of the vet techs adopted her. So she is in a great home!

What a beautiful pup - my dog has the exact same look when he can't go out, he was rescued too!!

I never know how people have it in them to mistreat animals - he's in a much better place now!

What a pretty little thing. I cant imagine some one treating her so bad. How people can do things like that is beyond me. Great to hear she is going to a loving family though. She deserves it.

That is so sad
People who bring their dogs to our boarding kennels sometimes forget the fact that when they have their dogs from puppies...they grow into their collars! So we end up having to loosen it off for them.
I don't understand how such a stupid mistake can come about 0-o

What a cutie! I can't imagine how people do that, either. She's lucky to have somewhere to go, good for her. This is a very expressive photo, doubly impressive because of the dog's history. Still curious and loving the world despite everything.

OMG! I would totally kill the person that did that... how horrible. She is totally sweet, those ears... how soft they must be, and those intense eyes... if I had a backyard I would totally take her... beautiful capture hon What you do with posting these up... that's really sweet of you. What an awesome way to get the adoptions out there... it's like your voice reaching to many people here on da... and who knows, maybe people see this and immediately come in and adopt... I think that would be awesome!

Thank you so much! I try really hard to capture who they are, and I am starting to hear stories of people falling in love with these animals from seeing their pictures on the Humane Society's website, so that just makes my day!

the cutest thing. glad she's got a new family, and it's always great to have good vet nearby. we had one many years ago, even my old dog loved him, after receiving all the treatments and shots

well i work with one now, although she does not have a practice, she has great colleagues to recommend. if we will ever have another animal, that is.
