Description Yep, it's the News of the World robot.
If you're not like me than that means it's the cover of Queen's 1977 album - home of We will rock you, We are the champions, Get down, make love and many other honourable contributions to music.

Acrylic paints, album ref. I wish I could work on this, but I have no time. We'll see soon, yeah?

Edit: I'll keep adding to the timeline as time goes on. I have no clue why it keeps changing colours, btw.

Edit: Updated August 1st.

Edit: Update Aug. 2, 5th panel. Brian and Freddie coming along, I have issues with their faces though. They will be fixed. I will do a proper background in the end, btw.

Edit: August 27 - 6th and 7th panels. Added John and Roger, changed background. I actually have the painting almost done - did proper background, finished everybody and just have a few minor problems to fix up. Might do it today and will have finished version up soon.

Edit: February 09 - Lol, I probably should have updated this with the finished pic before now. Well there it is! Probably my favourite piece so far

That is one hot piece of work. It puts the one I did in high school to shame. I tried it on a piece of clear acrylic. I couldn't even put faces on them, so I left them faceless. You are far superior, for sure.

Clear acrylic? Cool, never used that.
Faceless is pretty cool though, more mysterious...leaves it open to different thoughts, you know?

If you do, it's instrumental and a million minutes long but at the end you hear Freddie say "Fab."

I usually take 20 minutes or so and have 'quiet time' while listening to track 13 - it's a good calmer !

Great work. It looks like it's coming along. The colors probably keep changing because of angle, lighting, etc. Try to take them at the same time during the day and see what happens.

WHOA. You're an amazing painter! I'm really awful at painting, and have actually attempted doing the News of the World cover before in acrylics. It... yeah. Didn't work. But this looks REALLY great so far! I hope you get more time to work on it!
