The ships are badass. I saw a thumbnail and it reminded me of this anime called 'Last Exile' that had similar ships.
What would own would be if one of those ships had some sort of air-capable prototype mech waiting for the Confederate Army to test in in live combat.
Hmm... you know like... a Captured mech from the Confederation Army, recovered from salvage perhaps? and then developed to be able to fly.
