Description
This painting was done in acrylics for a fantsy novel cover. The space left at the top and bottom is for the authors name and book title.The brief was that the dragon should look old and menacing, guarding the cross symbol.

I have a deck box with this art on it. It's old, it's beat up (severely), but I'll never get rid of it. I'm in love with the art on it.

I read the "Daily Deviation" (Featured by 'SandraPelly) about this painting and I just couldn't agree more. It was so beautifully said! I think the gorgeous shades of red add to the intensity of the emotion that is evoked by the painting.

I saw this painting (stripped from the background) in the box art of a motherboard!, I immediately recognized it as a familiar style, and then concluded it must be Ironshod, I was right!.
