God, acrylics... I'm terrible with most types of paint, so I really admire this. The textures and colours in this are amazing, and the dragon's head and wings are just fantastic. Great art!

Acrylics can be tough to blend as they dry quite quickly. I find that putting layer of watery colour on over the top can help you build up a lighter or darker area whilst still seeing the original paint underneath.

The cross took a while to design, with all the celtic knotwork design. Maybe 4 or 5 hours to sketch out the initial design and then a day to paint the picture.

*blush* well I can understand how hard it is I mean it took me about three on a simple one..and even than that was tracing it to figure out how it went than free handing for another two.
