Here's something I've just finished.A classic fantasy subject that was a lot of fun to paint
Female warrior kneels on her dragon as she rides through the storm clouds. I've tried to reflect various dragon designs in her copper coloured armour. I have forced the perspective on her arm and the dragon's head to add to the drama and sense of flying towards the viewer.Sketched in pencil and then coloured in Photoshop. The airbrush tool is great for clouds

Great art, this reminds me of Girl on Dragon in the Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb. There expresions yave a great sense of tormented rage

very similar in pose to another piece of work i faved before
i love this one because of the darker of coloring and mood, but i like the other because i absolutely loved the wings on her

Very nice. This is very well done... how long did it take for you to paint it? And the dragon does have an anthropomorphic style to it, but this makes it seem very intelligent and capable of human speech. Is it a wyvern? o.o Love it!
And yes, airbrushing works well for clouds. What version photoshop did you use?

Liked this very much, but there's something that's bodering me... The dragon's head looks like a human one, or a humanizated demon (or something like it...). Not sure why, the proportion is something like a human one, but there's something about those eyes...

Ha! I thought I recognized your style from someplace - I was going to say that this one reminded me of a painting for Heavy Metal, but then again, the lady is wearing too many clothes for those guys.
The forced perspective was adroitly used. I dig the shape of the dragon's face, too - there's something of Lockwood's heavy-boned style about it, and I like that a lot in a dragon as a general rule. I'm glad to see that you like it as well.
