You do now that Ahriman is trying to fix what he had done?
Fun fact:
unless i mistaken that would be just a regular Marian of the thousand sons which is nothing more then a walking tomb of a trapped soul they have no emotion.

i actually really felt sorry for magnus and thousand sons. read their horus heresy book and all along magnus was trying to help and warn people and ending up getting fucked over for trying to do right thing. sucky ending for them.

Are campaigns are merely to slaughter as many as humanly(or in their case super humanly) as possible. Plain, simple, straight forward. While you and you magical god take centuries to decide how to attack a planet with your schimes, we march in and take it in one night! For KHORNE has no need to plan a battle, when he takes the filed the battle is already won in his name!

They seemed more than willing to protect themselves by killing the Space Wolves coming to take Magnus the Red away to Terra for questioning, despite Magnus's willingness to be taken back
I doubt they would have been loyal, although if they knew the side effects of what Ahriman was going to do they'd have returned to the loyalists faster than you can say 'the Rubric Marines Return'!

The Space Wolves didn't come to take Magnus away for questioning. They came to kill him and wipe out his Legion. The Thousand Sons had every right to defend themselves from the Vlka Fenryka.

The Thousand Sons is one of the only renegate chapter that I, proud imperial, do respect... Indeed, its a bit the Emperor's fault if they join the forces of chaos. Magnus tried to prevent him but the Emperor accused him of sorcery and condemn his legion...! Anyway that's a great job...!

Very powerful colours, and conveying a mood like this when the acting's done via silhouette isn't all that easy. Awesome!

Ahriman of the Thousand Sons Traitor Legion cast an infamous spell hoping to reverse or halter the rampant and disatrous mutations suffered by his bretheren caused by their patron Chaos God Tzeentch (as he is the Chaos God of change, hope, sorcery, and to an extent, knowledge). Oddly enough, Tzeentch forsaw this and allowed Ahriman to cast the spell knowing what would happen...
When Ahriman cast the spell it did stop the mutations permanently but at a terrible cost. Ahriman unknowingly turned all the Traitor Marines of his Legion (those that were not Sorcerors at least) into bodiless, mindless, automatons who's souls were bound to their very power armour for all time. Only the Sorcerors of the legion managed to escape the spell, and Ahriman was then banished from the Planet of Sorcerors. He is still shunned by some of his fellow Thousand Sons brothers and even their Primarch Magnus disapproves of him. Kind of sad really.

Wow, very cool. The sad thing is, as great as an image as it is... my first thought was:
"Why has my junk been reduced to a pile of windswept dust?!"
"Progress!"
... Yes, I'm a horrible person.
