The dwarf halfbeak (Dermogenys siamensis) is a freshwater fish with a unique appearance. They are community fish who can be housed with other peaceful species. However, if housed with other fish of the same species (especially other males), they can exhibit territorial, aggressive behavior. For this reason, it's best to keep them in a very spacious tank that can comfortably house a group of 6 or more.
I wanted to bring attention to these interesting fish since it seems that not many people talk about them.
