My French is bad, but I was using a ballet magazine for some ideas when drawing this and the dancer's were French. It's pretty old, and from around March. I still like it, despite errors such as the hand size and looking like she may tumble over. The sketch is a little dirty, but I cleaned it up and darkened it as best I could since my scanner is evil. Dance of the Lace Harlequin...pretty blatant title, hence I like the sketch.Related content

THe hands are definitly a little mis-sized to each other, but it's still really nice looking! Very fanasy looking and stuff! (Sorry, I'm having a I-can't-speak-or-type-proper-sentence-st ructure day.)

I think it is wonderful. The folds on her dress are done wonderfully. I love the background sooo much. The only thing that bothers me are the hands....they are too big and her arm on the right looks a little too long. All in all it is a very beautiful drawing.

It's a beautiful sketch. I love the way you drew the dancer...The illustration of her reminds me of Victorian goth artworks I've seen in the past, and I just love how she turned out in your style. Her dress is very well-shaded the shadows and the folds are just amazing), the detail in her lace stockings are really wonderfully done, the way you've done her face up in the makeup looks very gorgeous, and the lace in the background is a wonderful touch. I just

Very nice job with the shading! The design in the background is what originally caught my eye...I love it.
In terms of proportion, yeah, the hands are a little too large, but that's okay! Remember, they're usually the same size as the character's face.
