Pokemon Gijinka

You can't really see the entirety of the cosplay, but the majority of the effort spent was put into the skirt and lower piece of the dress. Hopefully I can get the pictures of them, but this will do for now.

So why Dragonair? Well, during the original 150 (+1), my favorite type was the mythical dragons, but there really wasn't many at the time. Even up to the Black/White generation my favorite pokemon is Dragonair because it's the most majestic and beautiful (Milotic comes second in my book, though I do pair them). At the time, the Dratini-Dragonite family were capable of being elementals (fire, thunder, ice, water, etc) but the big stats were oddly placed heavily into physicals abilities.

I had a long conversation with a friend about WHY Dragonair looks almost nothing like Dragonite. The color scheme turns into a strange orange, and why oh why does Dragonite lose it's elegant serpentine wyrm shape? And let's not forget those itty bitty tiny wings on the huge body... and it can somehow fly incredibly fast. MAGIC CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH!

Anywho, Pokemon was my childhood. It's not odd to say that if it weren't for Pokemon, I'd be a totally different person then I am now. Pokemon taught me values, courage, and friendship, and it's something that has stayed with me even 'til now.
