I love this page, the carpet patten looks so realistic, the colors are so nice and warm, and Rahti's expression and little stray hairs make me so happy!

Looks more like a graphic novel than a comic. The style of the frame and so of the faces. The details and patterns of the cloths and so the color, the style of the narratyve...feels like you're transported to that world!!

Makes me think of the tapestry in Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind. One tiny picture in the upper left corner spoke of a profecy that, unknowigly, Nausicaa was later to fulfill.

Thank you.
She lives in a country in a world (not of this one) that is a hodge podge of several middle eastern/african/eurasian and yes, maybe even indian, cutlures.

BTW, what medium do you use? I suspect that you're using a combination of Pastel and Watercolor, but could be wrong.

I use a combination of manythings, Watercolor, gouache, acrylic, prismacolored pencils, or basically anything that gets the desired effect...or a surprise accidental effect that pleases me.
But I try not to use pastels (either chalk or oil) for something like this.

Of course, Colored Pencils. I momentarily forgot their existance. :b Your employment of media is skilled; I'm sure you'll master it. Your gallery, which I love btw, would certainly say so. I'll keep an eye on you. ; )

The tapestry/rug looks like a war scene. Hmm, no, more like the aftermath of a battle? Somebody's very sad...

...It's a story rug!
It reminds me of the story behind stained glass windows. Since in medieval times, most people were illiterate, the churches helped tell the stories of the bible by depicting them in the windows.

Wow, such a nicely done page! The images here are arranged very well and the amount of detail is great. Like others, I especially like the last image of Rahti. Even though sheβs just standing still, thereβs such a nice expression that tells you what sheβs thinking without having to read the text.
You know, this would be really neat to read in a book format. How long were you planing on having Nhoor be?

Oh wow....the design is creepy, but beautiful o_o
Her expression is so intense in the last there...it's like I can see her face and feel that emotion, but there's no real description for it >.<; *sounding weird*
