To answer the age question, Pathik was 29 years younger than Gyatso.
At the time of Aang's birth? Pathik was 38. Gyatso 67.

awesome pic. my sister and I are working on a whole crop of OCs right nao that belong in Aang's time encluding one girl Monk from the eastern temple who is Pathik's younger sister. Even Tho it is a temple exclusively for girls he insisted on staying with his sister..... work in progress...

Pretty good. The background is a little sloppy, but it's a pretty good concept of what he looked like as a child.
The two kids in the background seemed a little messed up. The faces and all. Not bad =]

BTW, your timeline is not off at all... the Nick-Avatar site says that Pathik is 150 years old, so he would've been 50 at the time of the flashbacks that we have seen of Aang & Gyatso. I don't think that Gyatso was much over 50 himself then... *sighs with sadness*
