Ahhh, ATLA... One of the few cartoon shows my father actually liked my brother and I watching... I remember calling my mother up to ask for more time with my dad the night the two part finale of Season 1 aired so we could watch it all. (Parents are divorced, mom has primary custody).

THAT'S TERRIBLE! I get how you feel. My brother and I are both into MLP:FIM, we are proud to love the show, the team behind the show is a dream team of awesomeness. My dad just can't get past the fact that the characters are ponies... He said the only reason he even allows my brother to watch it is because he knows he isn't gay. *sigh* It is sad when parent's can't get over Β something stupid...

I remember watching the first series of Avatar when I was a little kid with my dad, just before I would go to bed. Now, I'm in high school, and my younger cousins watch Korra with me whenever my dad's out of town. Hard to believe it's been so long since the series was started, and a lot of people have been affected by it.

And hmm. I was 20 when Avatar came out and now I'm almost 28. I suppose that is a long time. I don't have kids or even a boyfriend or husband and I was already an adult when the show came out, so I guess it's harder for me to relate to this, even though I do like it.

I'm still a kid but I LOVE both of the Avatar series. I watched one episode Aang's adventure on Netflix and I was HOOKED!! And now I'm so happy that I can watch an Avatar series WHILE IT'S AIRING! I love this picture
