No offense to Jennifer Lawrence, but she is totally not how i imagined Katniss Everdeen. Im super confident that she'll do an awesome job in the movie but, i see Katniss a little different. So i drew her!!My entry into 's "Girl with a Flower" Contest. [link]

Four: So, this is it...
Katniss Everdeeen:...Elsewhere.
Thomas: We made it. After all these years, after all that all of us have lost...we made it.
Katniss Everdeen: Now comes the hard part...W.I.C.K.E.D. were wrong about many things, but they were right about one thing. We need to rebuild civilization...and do it right this time. No Panem. No Verhoeven. No Platonia. We have to build a society that works.Β
Jonas: The important thing is that we know what W.I.C.K.E.D. got wrong. So we can make it right. Not perfect, but at least right. And yeah, it's not gonna be easy. But now the future shines brighter for all of us.

Darling, I'm with you. Lawrence is not how I imagined Katniss either. Lawrence, while a very good actress in her own right, would be great as a young business woman. She has this powerful young adult presence about her, while Katniss is just a teenage girl. In scenes with Amandla who plays Rue she almost pulls off her mum rather than a girl only four years older, while such dystopian book as "Hunger Games" means to show exactly that: children forced in horrible, inhumane conditions. Your Katniss is just about perfect. You are AMAZINGLY talented!

This is almost a year later but whatever.
A lot of the adaptations of these sort of books have actors that are clearly in their 20's. Divergent was the worst with this. I get it that the part would be pretty hard for real teen to do, but still.
This isn't really what I imagined Katniss to look like either. I always thought she would look more like a Water Tribe girl from the Avatar shows.

Nice! I really like how you've done her hair, it's gorgeous. It's always interesting to see how people imagined the characters. I didn't imagine her at all like Lawrence, but that's in part because I pictured her as a grey-eyed Hispanic. Still, the actress did a good job, and made her feel a bit more human.

Jennifer Lawrence was a great Katniss, but I still pictured Katniss with black hair, gray eyes, and olive toned skin. But hey the acting was great and they at least ATTEMPTED to make her look like Katniss and did a fairly good job unlike whoever made the Percy Jackson movie.........
