Description Order #6: Ephemeroptera (Mayflies)

These ones land with their front legs in the air for some reason. In this species, females can be twice the size of males (30 mm). They are poor fliers and have to rely on the wind. Their nymph stage is aquatic and have external gills on their thorax and abdomen. As nymphs they are predatious or detritivores, as adults they don't eat at all!

Not sure what this leaf is doing, I'm lazy with backgrounds.

Woah woah, what happened here. From fluffy looking bugsies, to fine, very detailed looking lady.
All of them looking great but it feels like this was a 180 on the style hahaha
But yeah. Very fine looking, I seriously appreciate all the time and effort you put into wings!

Thank you! I mean, this one isn't fluffy at all. Maybe I'm progressively trying to be more accurate.

Stay tuned, the Odonata I drew has more detailed wings

Yeah, I feel like drawing daily does that to you. I feel myself getting faster but also more accurate, whereas at first, I was so slow and less accurate all together. Feels bad man, but also, feels good to feel a positive difference in art.

Am deffo here, sir! *salute*
