Description
Finally, the last Mystic Tre Friend artwork, for now, has been finished. Currently, I am still busy with my thesis, and I want to have time to finish it. At the same time, I need to do my internship as well. So I wanted to put this out already so that I will be able to focus more. I will be back to it as soon as possible, once I am able to finish everything I need for this term, and hopefully be more active to do work without getting tired easily.

So that its for the main characters, plus one more character. Once my term is done, along with the requirements needed, I can start with the secondary characters, especially the Ka-Pow ones. But once the next term starts, I will be busy with schoolwork again, so I hope you have the patience for it. The thesis I am doing is very important to me as well, and I want to find the motivation and strength to be able to work and finish it.

Here we have the last main characters, Lammy and Cub, along with a special guest, Mom. As mentioned in my previous works on her, how I designed her is pretty much my own interpretation, since a lot of people have their own interpretation of her as well. I had trouble with this as well, trying to draw and color the magic effects around them to look more presentable, especially Lammy's since I tried to make it look cloudy and cottony as possible.

Lammy's element is wool or cotton magic, having the ability to weave or control from thin threads to woven clothing. Trying to find an element for her is a bit tricky, since she barely was able to show much of her character in the series, almost like Toothy, and appearing in only a few episodes. But I decided for her to take an element that is very obvious for her. Being a sheep, she uses wool/cotton magic. The element she uses though is mostly for support, but it's offense is as good as it's defense. Her wool can be a very useful tool, making constructs out of it from its thin fibers. She can make them as soft as a cushion and as hard as concrete. Her wool also makes a good transportation, behaving like a cloud. It even makes a good place to sleep in, and a good place to hide too. At times, she can control clothing as well, including her cloak, which can have a mind of its own, and create tendrils out of her wool like ribbons. There are many inspirations I use for her magic, many of them in which has control over cotton, threads and clothing. Examples are Wilhelmina from Shakugan no Shana, Rebellio from Gunvolt Chronicles, Aries from Fairy Tail, Charmy and Vanessa from Black Clover, and even Cottonee from Pokemon.

Mom, Cub's mother, has mirror and barrier magic. As mentioned earlier, this is only my own interpretation of her, with the idea of her design coming from Cub. Two episodes of the original series show that Cub has auburn hair underneath his beanie, giving me the idea that he inherited that trait from his mother. Thus, she has long flowing auburn hair in this design. For her elements, it is base on how I picture her, and a play on words. Her husband, Pop, uses smoke magic, so I gave the idea of her using mirror magic, referencing the term "smoke and mirrors". For her barrier magic, it just to show how very caring and protective she can be, especially towards her son, Cub. It is also for that very reason why she has sacrificed her life to protect him. Unlike the rest of the main characters, she is not Immortal, because she died trying to save Cub. So instead, she is an immortal soul, still bound in the living world watching over her family like a guardian angel. But little did they know she was there all along. Even with their world surrounded with magic, it is not enough for them to be able to feel her presence. But maybe someday, they will know that she is always there for them. The inspirations I used for her design is based on Goddess Madoka from Madoka Magica, Sakura's opening 3 costume and movie 2 princess dress from Cardcaptor Sakura, and Rose Quartz from Steven Universe, especailly with her defensive abilities. She is also akin to Gardevoir from Pokemon.

Cub's element is very special, and a rare case. As mentioned, a Tree Friend can control at least one or two elements, along with basic magic. But there are only a few Tree Friends where their elemental magic is inherited from their parents and merge the two elements into one element. In Cub's case, he has inherited his father's smoke magic, and his mother's mirror magic. Again, this is a play on words "smoke and mirrors", which not only does he have two elements from his parents, but by combining both elements, he also has the ability to create glamour or illusions. Of course, for his age, he has no control over his magic, let alone have the ability to fight, despite being an Immortal. Though some thought that somewhere in the future, he might grow to become a very powerful Immortal, powerful enough to become a Guardian. But it is a question if he would be able to grow up, even with the immortal curse that was bestowed on him, along with his father. Since he is a baby, he has no proper control over his magic, so expect the possibility of any magical shenanigans that may happen because of that. No one can tell what he is thinking when he does so. So the beanie that he wears is design to show that if the ball on the tip start to glow, with the propellers starting to spin, it's a signal to show that he is about to use his magic. Not much reference is use for his design besides the bandana around his neck and pants, but the idea of his beanie having a crystal ball on top of it glowing then spinning the propellers when he uses his magic is an idea from Ojamajo Doremi, where the baby, Hana, has crystal balls on her hair ties, putting her hair up and glowing when she is about to use her magic.

Well, that's all for now. I have done all the main characters of Happy Tree Friends, minus Mr. Pickles because I don't know how I can fit him in here. But I do have the idea that he is a construct created by Lammy, a tulpa to be exact, brought to life. For now, I will focus on my school work.
