5 of 5 in this series (sorry - I am just indecisive tonight)Inspired by my favorite fairytale as a child... The Snow Maiden (Snegurochka)... I had a book of Russian fairytales, and some of my favorite illustrations were in that story... so this is kind of me just playing with that fairytale from my childhood...
nothing really significant or fantastic, i know... sometiems i like the way they turned out, other times I dont... I may take them down later ... I just am all wishy-washy.

Creative portrait and well chosen title... i like the pronounciation of it...
BUT i really don't like the shadow on the nose. It looks great on the eye, but not in the nose.

Very striking image. I like this kind of unusual perspective. The only thing I find slightly distracting is the hotspot on the front of the shoulder. Beautiful concept though.

I'm glad you decided to keep this one up. Again, it looks like a still from a movie. This time, though instead of a horror flick; it's more like a fantasy movie. Have you seen 'Legend'? This picture is very Legend. I love that movie, but if you don't like that movie, then it doesn't look like it.

This is a beautiful photograph. I love the way you have captured the light and the frostiness in the piece is wonderful. It really does feel like a fairytale.

It has to be my favourite in this series along with the first one.
the only one with the eyse closed and that makes it so emotional.
That one dark line, shadow that goes acroos the eye and nose looks like some really cool make up.
Wonderful series, I enjoyed watching it and this is a must fav.

the angle used in all of these adds so much to the atmosphere. i just had a thought, to get some nice foggy breath with some of these. otherwise they're perfect.

I also cannot tell which one I like the most. I like the first one that your eyes matches with the blue gray bids, but I also like this pic as you close your eyes.

i love the lighting in this one - this and the first are my favorites. in my head its a closeup of a fantasy painting of a maiden in a long flowing dress with fabric and hair billowing all over while she looks so serene and romantic. very nice series.
(i do kind of wish the shadow didn't make the tip of the nose so dark, though but that's a tiny, tiny detail...)
