No no shape vectors are a type of vector. It's when you draw shapes around the lines you want to trace so the outline is sharper, like when you zoom into my Mei vector you can see the lines are like pointy on the ends.

Umm when you trace you just draw single lines right? < That's called a stroke vector. It looks good, but when you zoom in the ends of the lines are really flat.

This is a shape vector. See how the person draws a shape around the line?
Doing this gives you nice sharp lines. It takes much longer (for me because I'm still new to it) but the results are worth it ! xD
