Hrm. I am not very much aware of Yankee history, so I am not entirely sure as to how -deep- this photo really is, from the artistic point, however, the expressions are definitely priceless.

Kind of a random observation, but in the thumbnail, the triangular shape of the white dress makes it look almost like it could be a snowy mountain range on the other side of a lake, and yet the fact that it is a portrait gives it an almost surreal presence for me. I don't know, I thought that was cool haha

Wow. This is beautiful! The image is so crisp and clear. I have a problem though, and no, it's not the picture, it's me, haha. I look at her, and I end up looking at the hem of her skirt, then my eyes slide over to the clouds, and I end up staring at the cloudy sky in the background. I can't help it! It happens every time! I'm only safe when I'm looking at her reflection...
