This is Daquiri doing the six bar jumping class at *handstands-for-you 's Show Jumping Extravaganza This is my last entry for this I swear!! I realise I drew Summer just a little bit too small for Daquiri's height, but I have no time right now to fix this. My mum's nagging me about cleaning my tack

"Easy sweetheart, no need to be so tense, this is meant to be fun!" Summer helped the flighty mare calm down by asking her to back up and move sideways around the warm up arena. She just needed to think, and not panic. She eased the rein through her fingers and gently asked Daquiri to flex her neck round each way, the mare responded by visibly relaxing and letting out a long sigh.
"That's better isn't it, now you're ready. I wouldn't make you do this if you weren't relaxed about it."
The six bar jumping was the class Summer had most been looking forward to, she loved to jump high and she knew Daquiri was more than capable of handling six jumps in a row. She had just never done it in a competition before!
"Ok missy, it's our turn now, we can do this!"
They entered the ring and Daquiri was almost floating around the arena, she was clearly enjoying herself now!
Summer aimed her for the first jump with a huge smile on her face. Whatever happened, she would not forget this moment.
