This is my entry for *Kalesta 's 3 day event

I still need to do a training pic and vet inspection pic for Elvira, I'm kind of uploading things in the wrong order!! But they are coming, don't worry!

I spent hours on this, literally, I think I've been working on this for 4 days now. I even painted hairs. HAIRS.

Also, I still fail at drawing people

Oh and I left the forelock unplaited because that's how I roll I don't know if we get minus points for that but I always think they look nice unplaited

On the showjumping day....
Elvira had been in training for this event for quite a while and had built up enough muscle and confidence to compete at last. She felt Joe's warm hands on her neck, scratching in her favourite place to calm her. She let out a long sigh of happiness and flicked her ears back and forth, listening to the sounds of the competition. It was their turn next and Joe signalled Elvira to canter a smooth circle once at the start of the course before the bell rang. He then aimed her at the first jump, and she bounded over it without a moments hesitation. The only problem she had was the audience...they looked so inviting and friendly....maybe she could just say hello to the people at the front? Joe felt her concentration drifting and nudged her with his heels, reminding her that they were there for a reason! She felt Joe's command and obeyed, flying over the rest of the course and finishing with a happy buck as they passed the finish line.
