Fatma was very excited to take Fenek to the three day event at MMS. Afterall, she had only been entering events back home in Saudia Arabia, this was the first time she would be starting for her new home and stable, IVS.

Not to mention, she very much looked forward to the weather. In whole, Fatma just loved every kind of weather. Back home in Saudi Arabia ir mostly had been hot and dry all the time, with lots of sand and, well, the occassional gardens that had to be kept with real big efford. It was so amazing to see all these plants, green and colourful, grow everywhere here in Europe, just because.
Also Fenek already had learned to love the new vegetation all around her. No matter where she looked, there always was food, it was great.

When they arrived at MMS it was raining, yet neither Fenek nor Fatma really minded. They both liked the rain, it was still so new and different for them and so they also had no problem performing in the dressage class, while it rained.

The next day it was time for show jumping. Fenek was a little nervous, the mare disliked indoor arenas, at home her father had always treated the horses fairly rough when showing them in the arena, so they would run nicely and show all they could for potential buyers. Yet, Fatma soon managed to calm her down enough to focus her attention on the obstacles, afterall, jumping was something the firey mare loved to do.

On the third day, finally, they started in cross country, one of their favourite dicplines. Both girls laughed to race through the countryside and leap over all the various obstacles. Fatma was especially delighted by the wonderful apple trees they passed.

So, once the event was over, she took Fenek there again and picked an apple straight from the tree for the first time to give it to her beloved mare. It was great to see them grow on trees and not in packs.

Super last minute entry for 's Three Day Event. I really loved the idea with the three frames that was part of the event, so I really badly wanted to enter. I'll be off for the weekend though and not back before the deadline, so I'm really glad I managed to finish the pic. :3
