Description
The third drawing in my set collection of little Divines. This time featuring Julianos, the god of wisdom and logic. I haven't come across that many pictures of him so I took some liberties in my interpretation of him. I hope you like it!
"Come to me, Julianos, for without you, my wit is weak to sort the wheat from the chaff, and my eyes should neither know the true from the false, nor sense from folly, nor justice from prejudice and interest.
Know the truth. Observe the law. When in doubt, seek wisdom from the wise."
Julianos, the God of Wisdom and Logic, is one of the Divines. He governs the realms of literature, law, history, and contradiction. He is usually associated with magic, and thus is often revered by wizards. Monastic orders founded by Tiber Septim and dedicated to Julianos are the keepers of the Elder Scrolls. As a Divine, he represents the virtue of learning, scholarship, and justice.

The design here is great, he looks wise, like a scholar but still rather young, like the immortal god he is^^
And the colour scheme is beautiful!

You don't really hear of Julianos much, probably 'cause he knows that whenever Gods get involved with the protagonist, stuff happens, usually bad.
On second thought, perhaps he just has 4th wall knowledge and knows not to mess with the player by introducing logic and moralityΒ in video games.

Considering that you play Oblivion, there is one district in the Imperial City where all the Nine statues hold. If you want early inspiration, you can start from there.

I am aware, and I have looked at them. The statues are kind of plain, though, so they leave quite a bit of room for artistic interepretation. Oblivion's Julianos for example is basically just a bearded guy in a robe, holding a triangle: img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20β¦

Most of the Imperial versions of gods seem a bit watered down to me, but Jhunal's conversion to Julianos really worked in his favor. Β He's getting the appreciation he deserves.

Wow. I have never really learnt that much about the Divines (just the basic stuff, been to interested in the Deadra. xD) but if I where one of the Divines based on personality it would definitely be Julianos... Wisdom, logic, learning, scholarship and justice. He just quickly became my favorite Divine.

Thanks a lot! Dibella took the longest since she was the first one and I had to make everything from scratch. With the rest of them I already have a background base I can use so it all works out a bit faster now. I expect to post the next one by tomorrow...

Random people yeah, probably. xP (They probably wonder why I look like I'm glaring at them, when most of the time I'm not meaning to lol.) My friends, nah, they have all known me for to long. xD
I'm often thinking quite a bit, especially if i'm bored, so I have that glare-y almost sad expression quite a bit. But really, Isriana got that lost in thought expression pretty much perfect.Β Β

Well, thinking is good XD thats why i keep a block i can write on me at all time - You never know when you get some sort of idea that needs to be written down XD
