I finally found a way to shade that's easy. xD This is something I drew at the beginning of the month! I was feeling in the mood to color something, and since I'm not finished with anything but this, I colored this!This is another illustration for my NaNo project (which I should really be writing right now instead of dA-ing >.> ). The girl is my MC, Lenore, the dog is her pet Pim.
Please forgive any anatomical errors, especially in the dog. Dx AND THE BG, LOLOLOLOL

The branch-wing is a representation of the story, just so you don't think it's growing out of her back. xDD
I think I'm gonna use this as the "cover art" for my NaNo. DDx Isn't that dorky?
Anyways, I don't have much to say other than I'm sorry for being absent so long. I'll get to everyone's deviations very soon! D: I feel so awful >_____>;;

I was inspired by my other friend :devJaspers-Autumn: to try drawing animals again! I didn't realize how long it had been, so I'm trying to get back into the habit! THANK YOU SO MUCH, but I don't think it's nearly as good as some of hers, and the other animal artists here on dA. xDD
BUT, BUT, I WAS VERY EXCITED WHILE DOING THIS PIC, BECAUSE NOW I CAN MAKE ONE OF THOSE CHEESY FAKE BOOK-COVERS. xDDD You know the type with the summary on the back and the spine down the middle?
