Description
A very fun piece to work on. I was just in the mood to do another fantasy nature piece, and the sketch for this was so fun that I had to paint it. Watercolor on Paper, with slight colored pencil touch ups on her cheeks and dress. The actual piece is much more sublte, and so I may photograph this later. Silly Scanner.Related content

I thought it was digital by looking at the thumbnail, but when I clicked on it I realised it was traditional. At such a small size, I couldn't tell.

Saying you want him as a pet makes me think of the miniature dragons in Harry Potter - the ones they picked to see which of the real dragons they would have to battle. I always say I want one of those little ones as a pet!

oh my god! so many people already left you nice comments!!! i can't read them all to be sure i'm not gonna say the same thing as everybody else, but i think this painting is absolutely gorgeous! you really got that light effect that makes it look like she's in the jungle, with tons of trees around her but the sun's not too far. i love the little dragon and the flowers! perfect colors! well, it took me a little time to notice the dragon, he's surrouned with so many flowers and branches, and that cute little girl........
