SO. MUCH. CRACK. KuruNatsu. I went there.I don't know what's wrong with me. And I probably just scared some people with this. But I read an awesome fic here [link] and then could not resist but to draw some KuruNatsu. Because there is none of it out there yet. Pretty much.
I realize how unrealistic this is. Personally, I don't think Kururu really has any time to love anyone...he's busy with his curry. ~
And Natsumi would probably hate him more than she already does, if he tried anything.But ah... insane people (like me) can imagine what they want.
I don't own the characters to Keroro Gunsou.
This pekoponian version of Kururu is ALL me though.

I am in intense agreement with you, because I too read that story and was horribly conflicted, but somehow it is a wonderful read and just sweeps you up in it. I don't even care if it's canon or not, it's downright illegally adorable!

Hah, well, I'm the type to choose fanon over canon. Most of my favorite pairings are total crack. But I agree, that story was... life changing. xD Well, at least it opened my eyes to all the possibilities. I've noticed that not too many people go for the crack pairings in this series. Which is really unfortunate.

A lot of people are quite er, very strict it seems when it comes to who can be paired with who in this fandom. That's not to say other fandoms don't have similar fan-based problems within them, but I noticed it was present here too. 
The most popular thing it would seem are self-inserts or OC's being made solely for the purpose to pair up with Keroro and his platoon, and then putting down said pairings, it's all very confusing. Also, it seems popular to make Saburo a huge jerk, so that a crying Natsumi will run into the arms of Giroro and they'll have hybrid Keronian/human babies together. XD;
I think GiroNatsu is adorable! But why make Saburo purposely abuse Natsumi just to have them together? Doesn't make much sense.

I've noticed that too. Perhaps I'm being too bold, but I've noticed an excess of KuruMois love as well... and no offense to anyone who likes this pairing, but I just don't understand it. She's in love with Keroro, and he's in love with curry. How exactly are they supposed to end up together...?
I don't understand all of the Saburo-hating either. I'm a GiroNatsu fan, and I won't deny it, but I think people take it too far. It just wouldn't be very characteristic of him to abuse Natsumi, or as I've also seen a lot, for him to cheat on her. Sure, he's portrayed as being charming and popular with the ladies, but that doesn't make him a sleaze.

I've noticed that as well, and while I'm not opposed to any pairings, I also don't see it as working either, Kururu hates Mois. She makes him uncomfortable. If anything, he likes Aki, he even spent an entire day alone with her and built a mech suit in her honor. That's about as close to love as you'll ever get from this guy.
Exactly, he's like Kururu, kind of a loner. But that doesn't mean he's oblivious to peoples' feelings. I'm sure he realizes Natsumi has a bit of a crush on him, but probably isn't interested in a relationship and doesn't want to lead her on, which is perfectly fine, and actually pretty cool.

Hah, yeah. And while I don't think Mois is really capable of hating anyone, I don't think she has any romantic interest in Kururu. And I think a lot of people tend to forget his pervy crush on Aki. (I mean really, he spies on her when she's in the shower!) As you say, his crush on Aki is as close to love as we're going to get out of him. Well, besides the whole thing about his heart belonging to curry.
I agree. Since I am a fan of GiroNatsu, I've always like to think that she would grow out of the childish crush as she gets older, and realize what sort of dedication Giroro has. I think she and Saburo are better off as being 'just friends.' I really think it's unfair for his character to be so misused by fans, just because they don't like SabuNatsu. (Or whatever that pairing would be called...I really have no idea.)

That's a pretty good idea of it, I think you'd be spot-on there. What's your take on the later seasons when Kururu begins to get all oddly flustered around Giroro? I always thought it was just him messing with everyone, but why waste the time and effort? XD

There are a lot of KuruGiro fans out there too, huh. I don't think that Kururu is genuinely interested in Giroro, but rather, is trying to get a rise out of him. I don't think it would be a waste of time and effort on his part, if it makes Giroro uncomfortable. But that's just my opinion. I'm sure there are plenty of different theories out there.

I totally know what you mean. I was really obsessed with Naruto until just recently, and my absolute favorite pairing was crack....even though I was originally a strict believer in cannon. Youtube...and all the AMVs...changed my mind completely.
