Description
These are a closed original species, based off the idea of willow-the-wisps.
They are only available for customs at the moment, though will soon do an adopt or two maybe.

About Litwisps:

There are three types of litwisps (I'll probably update my ref sheet above to reflect this later)
The Lighters- They are benevolent. They will actually lead you on the correct path or to where you want to go. They are mild mannered but usually shy and keep their distance.
The Tricksters - Like the name implies, they like to trick people. While their intent is not bad, nor will they lead you on the right path and often times you will spend hours following them, should you be lured by one. They constantly dance just out of reach. Playing with you.
The Lurkers- They are malevolent. These are the ones that intend to harm you, leading you to your death. These are the most daring, getting right in close and at the last moment even blinding someone so they miss something they should have watched out for.

Not much is known about them, besides the above. They can be ignored and one can find their own way without their help or non-help however they are very distracting and tempting, especially the Tricksters and Lurkers. It is rumored that they are the unfortunate pure souls that were led astray, twisted in their last moments to become a Litwisp. Likewise it is rumored that instead the lanterns they carry are filled with the souls of the ones that had died in the area.

Litwisps can stray anywhere, though they are only really noticed at night either way, however if they inhabit a cave system, they are known to come out in the day as well.
Deep forests, caves, and marshes tend to be their usual haunts though.

No one knows what is behind the veil, though a few had set out to find out. However their bodies were found severely mutilated, eyes wide open in fright of their last moments, hands frozen at their necks. Upon examination of the corpse, they found a black substance within the lungs. Testing it only turned up one thing. Water.

They are still learning about the Litwisps, as only few manage to survive encounters with the darker ones, and yet even fewer wish to speak of it. Who knows what else will be discovered?
