Was it just you or has that man been following you? You felt his gaze on your back. You could hear his footsteps from almost right behind you.

He had been following you since the convenience store. He probably knew that you’ve realised he was following you, he didn’t really bother trying to hide it anyway. When you looked at him, he shot you a smile that made your skin crawl.

What were you going to do? You didn’t want him to follow you home and find out where you live but there was also no way you could defend yourself were he to attack you. You were just walking with no destination in mind hoping to shake off the man but to no avail.

You internally cursed yourself for not taking up your classmate’s offer to walk you back home. You made a mental note to never walk home alone when it was getting dark.

You had to figure out how to get away from him. You were starting to freak out and it was preventing you from thinking of a solution.

There had to be a way.

Suddenly, you stopped and turned around to walk in the direction of your school – Fukurodani High School. It was getting late out but you knew the volleyball team would still be practicing, you would tell them about the man following you and ask for their help. Knowing them, they would definitely offer to walk you home.

As you neared your school, you picked up your pace and noticed that the man did so as well. Once you got through the gates, you practically sprinted all the way to the gym. You opened the doors with a loud bang, startling the players.

“H-help,” you managed to say as you desperately tried to catch your breath.

Akaashi walked over to you and gave you some water which you gladly accepted. “What’s wrong, (Y/n)-san?”

“There’s a man following me,” you reply after catching your breath. “I-I was so scared and I didn’t know what to do so I came to ask for your help.”

You had tears in your eyes and you were shaking in fear. Akaashi put his arm around your shoulder in an effort to calm you down. Meanwhile, the rest of the team were discussing ways to kill the man for even thinking about laying a finger on you.

“Bokuto-san and I will walk you home, okay?” Akaashi suggests.

You nodded before getting off the floor. You took a deep breath trying to calm yourself and prayed that the man had left. Akaashi let the coach know before leaving the gym with you and Bokuto. Bokuto had graciously offered to let you hold his hand and in normal circumstances you would just laugh it off but this time, you took his hand and held it tightly. Bokuto turned several shades of red but didn’t say anything as he squeezed your hand in reassurance.

As the three of you walked out of the gym, you realised the man was still standing there. Akaashi shot him a steely glare and he scampered off knowing that there was no way he’d be able to get to you with two guys guarding you. You let out a sigh of relief as soon as he ran off.

“Thank you guys so much,” you said looking at them with gratitude. “I don’t know what would have happened if I hadn’t thought of asking you guys for help.”

“It’s no problem, (Y/n),” Akaashi said.

Bokuto puffed out his chest with a smug smile on his face. “You know I’m your knight in shining armour, (Y/n).”

Man, what would you do without these two.
