Did a quicky of the far side of the moon terraformed as well, mostly based on the nearside image I just made.Related content

Another really cool picture! I imagine since there would be less water on the moon's far side it would be more arid, probably like a desert or something.

I don't think any of the moon would be arid. Here on Earth our climate zones are split up (and we have deserts ect) because the Earth's atmosphere is split into cells. Also the mountains on Earth have a significant effect on the flow of air and moisture around the globe. Because of the moon's small size it would have a deep atmosphere so the air flow would probably be mostly unaffected by the topography. Also the slow rotation would mean the moon would probably only have one cell, which would create only one climate zone. So the climate on the moon would probably be pretty uniform.

Would be fun, on the moon you could strap on wings and fly. Also odd is that the waves on the ocean would be 6 times higher and 6 times closer together. So the seas would be pretty rough, although the waves would only move 1/6th the speed
