Such an Iconic character can be a somewhat hard subject to illustrate. The actual pose is somewhat common these days but you have created a pleasing modern feel to a very famous 50s Icon
The attention to detail is second to none, with a great use of colours and shading style to amplify the subject in style.
The shading really allows her form to stand out from the norm, while keeping the essence of the once porceline beauty that was Marilyn Monroe.
The overall piece has a very elegant and professional finish and I'm sure even Marilyn herself would be proud of this piece too.

Thank you for an honest and clear critique. The icon of MM has been an intimidating figure for me. Such beauty is difficult to capture. I forsee doing another work with her as the subject, but plan on painting a less common image.
