hmm... I'm not sure if I find it too long... it would be nice to have a 85mm on my crop body. I know the working lengths so well that it's just natural now, and I spend a little bit of time scouting and visualising shots.
But I think to be fair, the 135mm on my crop body is perfect for the bust/half-body shots that you find in my gallery, especially when I am capturing candid situations. Any closer I think I would be influencing the scene. However, it is definitely too long if I wanted a full body shot, or if I want to capture the subject interacting with the environment AND maintain bokeh...
