All these lakes are so different
This tiny thing is entirely from snow melt, hence the clear water. The rocks contain iron, so much of that color is rust Location: Harmony Lake, Whistler Mountain, Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm + Tiffen Polarizer.
Technique: Photomatix Pro 4.0 and Photoshop CS5 from 3 RAW AEB bracketing +1.5, 0, -1.5 exposures.

Well, first of all the water is clean. But yes, polarizer cuts the reflection of the sky away.

I love your work. This is another amazing photograph. I especially appreciate the feeling the space creates, because of the diagnaol lines coming from the four corners seen in many of your photos; almost like one is literally being sucked into the space. An Alice and Wonderland effect! Beautiful.
