The 2012 landscape calendar is now available . Go check it out!One foggy day.
Location: Wedgemount Lake, Garibaldi Provincial Park, Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm + Tiffen Polarizer.
Technique: 3 RAW files processed with Photomatix Pro 4.1 and Photoshop CS5.

rather pretty. only thing is where it gets blurry hase a strong contrast with the rest of the photo. especially where the photo sharpens
the colors are nice and natural
i love the way the mountains look but i dont like the blurriness at by them, though in not sure if its fog or something.
im not really sure whats on the rocks near the front of the pictures. whether its a small walkway or just run off water, but it looks unnatural from the perception that its water because it seems like its running up hill
good choice of where to center the picture

This is a truly beautiful photo, and great reminder that there's so much more to our country than bad jokes about living in igloos.
The lighting, and the framing of the shot with the stream in the forground and the mountains as backdrop is very stirring, it makes me want to grab the wife and head out camping right now!!
You can almost smell the air in this picture, almost feel the grass underfoot and hear that stream running.
You certainly had a run of luck with the low cloud ceiling lending a sense of 'otherworldliness' to the shot also.
Suffice to say, we think very highly of this pic and will be diving through your gallery!!

This photo is just, just... wow!! The overall quality of the image is perfect, the scenery is absolutely beautifu, and you feel like you're RIGHT THERE in the mountainsl. This just takes your breath away...
The mountain range and the lake give the scene a peaceful feel to the photo, but the dark clouds overhead sort gives the entire landscape an air of mystery.
All in all, a fine landscape piece. I give it 5 stars in all four categories!! Keep up the good work and we hope to see more amazing pieces from you soon!!

its a wonderful pic. it has an unique air of mystery and allure. i would suggest either using less of the fog up top of get a more angled view from above.

You have been blessed with just wonderful subject matter with which to apply your keen landscaping eye. The application and use of various HDR techniques makes for very strong images and this is one where you have not driven it too far and you can feel what it was like to have been there. The raw files must be very impressive to begin with...so crisp is the outcome. Very good result. Congrats.
