I'm curious, is the stripe pattern on the maps a diffuse/ specular or a deterrent from plagiarism?

Protection from plagiarism. I wasn't so sure should I put it or not, because I hate watermarks. But I suppose I can make an exception for textures. And about the map - there is no specular map, only diffuse.

Ahh gotchya. Watermarks aren't really necessary on maps because artists can't plagiarism without an exact copy of the model and the UV layouts, and even less if the map is being displayed as a thumbnail. The only time you really see watermarks is when it's a texture viewable at its native resolution and is applied to a flat plan with no UVing.

Thanks. For me usually it's faster to adapt uv to texture than to make uv and texture from scratch, specially when object is something with common shape like all-stars or box, and size of texture here is more than enough for models like these. And even if I'm wrong it's still my decision.
